Hello, Realmseekers!

It’s been quite a while since our last update! We’ve been hard at work finalizing the game, acquiring the last pieces of artwork we needed, and working to get our Gamefound campaign published. I’m reaching out because I have some exciting news:

Our crowdfunding launch date is June 5th, 2026!

Please, spread the word! The best thing you can do to help the game get traction is to follow the project on Gamefound before the campaign starts—you’ll even get a card just for doing so!

We’re also excited to announce that we’ve partnered with GeekEMedia to produce video content to showcase the game and grow awareness of Elora! You can check out some of that content on our Instagram and YouTube channel right now by clicking the links at the bottom of this email.

As for what else we’ve been working on, we’ve made major improvements to our website (especially the deckbuilder!) to ensure that things keep running smoothly as we rely more and more on the site. And of course, we’ve gotten plenty more amazing pieces of artwork from some very talented artists! Here’s just a few of them:

It’s been just about two years now since we began development on Elora, and I cannot be more excited to see just how far we’ve come already. I want to sincerely thank everyone who’s tried the game, commented on it, and supported us this far already. I’m very excited to get the game into all of your hands soon!

Ahoy, Corsairs!

May has been a whirlwind month full of momentum, milestones, and new mates aboard the ship!

We set sail for Under the Dice Fest 2025 in Enfield, CT, where we demoed the game to an amazing crowd of curious adventurers and card connoisseurs. We even sold out of every pre-alpha deck we brought—thank you all for the enthusiasm and support!

Joining our crew this month is Steve, who’s officially taking the helm as our new Corsair Captain of Playtesting! He’s already helping us chart the next phase of gameplay development—more on that below.

We’re also thrilled to announce an upcoming learn & play event in the near future in partnership with Pack Rat Gaming in East Windsor, CT. Keep an eye out—we’re hoping this turns into a recurring series!

On the development front, we’re deep in testing tweaks for the Bard class. Expect cost reductions, added keywords, healthier minions, and some shiny new tools to help Bard shine in the early game. Still in testing—but if you're interested in playtesting please reach out, we want to hear from you!

We're also hard at work building our roadmap to crowdfunding, and running the numbers on what it would take to deliver booster packs as part of the Alpha Kickstarter. More on that soon!

Lastly, we’d love your help spreading the word! If you’re part of a store, club, or playgroup that might love the game, send them our way or connect us! We’re more than happy to get cards into eager hands.

This past month was an exciting one for us! We attended CTGamerCon ‘25 and met many new people who share our passion for card-slinging and strategic spellcasting. The feedback we received was incredible, and we’re already brewing up changes and improvements thanks to your insights.

We also ran a raffle during the event—and it was a hit! If you entered, make sure to check your email (and spam folder, just in case) to see if you won. A few winners still haven’t responded, and we’d hate for you to miss out on your prize!

And this weekend on Saturday, April 12th, we’re hosting our first-ever public tournament at Second Floor Games in Enfield, CT, at 1 PM! Whether you're a seasoned duelist or a curious newcomer, it’s going to be a day of exciting duels and unforgettable moments. Come through and show us what you’ve got!
