Q: If multiple allied minions die at the same time, and I activate Replenish The Ranks, which minion do I choose for a matching class?

Since multiple minions died at the same time, you may summon a minion through Replenish The Ranks that matches at least one of any of the deceased minions' classes.

Q: Do minions stolen by The Void Queen retain their existing minion classes?

No, they're horrors now until they leave the arena, even if you somehow gain them back.

Q: How many minions can I target with Magician's Missile?

You must target three minions (potentially including your own) in order to play Magician's Missile.

Enacted: 2025-02-26

Q: How many times can I activate The Staff of Order?

The Staff of Order tracks how many times it's been activated overall, not just per turn. Once you've activated it three times, the last ability on the card triggers.

Q: How many times is my minion with multiple minion classes affected by Corrupted Corsair or other buff effects?

Effects that would grant a benefit to a minion with multiple classes only grant that benefit one single time.

Q: If I have more than three counters when my Soulsinger dies, what happens?

If Soulsinger dies when you have more than the max Counters you can have in the arena, simply discard the first counter (furthest to the left) until you have your maximum (typically three).

Q: My Sentient Amalgam has lost its Rally ability. What happens?

If Sentient Amalgam has its Rally disabled (e.g. by being frozen), it reverts to being its assigned minion class (Aberration).

Q: My Wandering Minstrel was killed before its ability went off. Does it still shuffle the other minion?

No, since the Wandering Minstrel was removed before the trigger the enemy minion will remain.

Enacted: 2025-02-26

Q: What happens if I don't want to play the card I hit with Potion of Everchanging Color?

If you choose not to play that card, it returns to your hand along with all the others.

Enacted: 2025-02-26

Q: When minions turn face up using Rend Dimensions, does that count as them entering the arena again for my Omen cards?

Per 7.2.5.4.2: Face-down minions are treated as the same object whether they are face-up or face-down and thus all tracking and/or additional statuses for that minion (e.g. damage) remain the same. Rend Dimensions's ability does not count as any of these minions re-entering the arena, so no Omen effects trigger.

Q: Can killing a minion with Dwarven Caver gain me Magic over my maximum?

Dwarven Caver cannot gain you magic over your maximum. If you had a maximum of 5 Magic and had 5 Magic unspent, you would not gain anything when Dwarven Caver kills a minion.

Enacted: 2024-12-20

Q: How does Apprentice Cleric's heal work?

Apprentice Cleric's heal is a replacement effect, meaning the actual act of drawing from the deck does not occur, thus does not trigger other abilities that occur when drawing with no cards (i.e. Crazed Pyromancer).

Enacted: 2024-09-01

Q: Can a minion targeted with Charming Song attack its allies?

As long as it's eiligible to attack, the targeted minion can attack any other minion, even its own allies.

Enacted: 2024-09-01

Q: How does Greedy Grinner work?

Greedy Grinner counts each instance of damage, rather than the damage itself. It doesn't matter if you take one damage or ten damage, as long as it's all occurring at the same time, you'll get 1 Magic.
